Repair cracked or decayed teeth in a single visit using advanced digital scanning and milling technology. No temporary crowns, no waiting.

Dental crowns are used in restorative dentistry to cover and protect damaged or decayed teeth, like a cap. The crown is typically custom-made to match the patient’s tooth shape and bite.
Traditionally, this process can take over a week and require multiple dental appointments.
Thankfully, we now offer same-day CEREC crowns, allowing you to restore your smile in just one visit to our dental clinic in London.
CEREC, which stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic, is a procedure that replaces traditional metal crowns with high-quality ceramic restorations.
CEREC is a trusted system for same-day ceramic crowns. It can be used for inlays, onlays and full crowns, allowing us to design, mill and fit your permanent crown within hours instead of days.
At Tavistock Dental, we provide complete dental care alongside your CEREC crown treatment.

Getting same day CEREC crowns is more accessible than ever with Tavistock Dental. Our approach combines advanced technology with personalised care to ensure precision, comfort and long-lasting results.
We offer flexible appointment times for busy patients, helping you fit treatment around your schedule.

How much time does it take to have same day CEREC crowns?
You can have same day CEREC crowns fitted in as little as 2 hours, although some cases may take longer depending on your treatment needs.
How long do I have to wait before eating after treatment?
We recommend soft foods and liquids for the first 2 to 3 hours after treatment while the anaesthetic wears off. For harder foods, it is best to wait 24 to 48 hours to allow the bonding to fully set.
Is it painful to have CEREC dental crowns?
The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic, so you should not feel discomfort during treatment. You may experience mild sensitivity afterwards, particularly if combined with other procedures such as root canal treatment.
How long do CEREC crowns last?
CEREC crowns typically last ten to fifteen years or longer with proper care. Maintaining good oral hygiene and avoiding excessive pressure on the crown will help prolong its lifespan.
