What to expect from your anti wrinkle treatment
Anti-wrinkle treatment is a popular, minimally invasive injectable that relaxes the muscles responsible for lines and wrinkles. By reducing muscle activity in targeted areas of the face, it smooths their appearance - with results that look natural rather than frozen.
Anti wrinkle treatment is a safe and effective procedure that we can perform in a short amount of time. We’ll start by identifying the specific areas of concern. Using our in-depth understanding of facial anatomy, we’ll pinpoint the precise spots to inject for excellent results.
Next, we’ll carry out the injections. This treatment can be used for wrinkles in the forehead, around and under the eyes, mouth, jaw and neck.
Once the procedure is complete, you can return to your day without needing rest and recovery. We’d suggest avoiding spending time in the sun, drinking alcohol, or doing any strenuous exercise for the rest of the day, and you may experience some slight flu-like symptoms.
Some swelling and redness is normal after treatment. We may suggest not wearing makeup in the treatment area and applying an SPF 30 for a short period after the procedure. Results usually begin to appear after a few days, with full results visible after a couple of weeks.
To maintain your results, we recommend having further treatments periodically.
Anti wrinkle treatment at Tavistock Dental starts at £300 for one area; however, if we’re treating two areas, it’s £425, and £499 for three.
The versatility of dermal fillers
Dermal fillers use a natural hyaluronic acid to restore plumpness to your skin and lips. Just like anti wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers are carefully injected into specific parts of your face, where they quickly reverse the effects of ageing. This treatment is ideal for enhancing the appearance of your lips or cheeks.
Once we’ve assessed your facial features and planned your treatment, we’ll inject the fillers. This experience usually takes less than half an hour.
There’s no downtime following the procedure, so many people choose to have the treatment during their lunch break.
The effects of dermal fillers are instantly visible. You may experience some swelling and redness; however, this quickly passes on its own.
Over time, the hyaluronic acid will naturally break down. To maintain your results, we’d suggest returning for a top-up treatment at a later date.
